Except
for the following U.S.G.A. rules shall apply.
Participants in the Championship flight MAY NOT use riding carts. In cases of inclement weather the committee reserves the right to limit matches in subsequent flights to nine holes or less. Play the ball as it lies around all trees (except staked trees). 150 yard bushes are considered staked. The embedded ball rule is in effect through the green, except in hazards. All putts must be holed out in qualifying rounds. Penalty: disqualification. Any ball crossing roadway fences or entering the parking lot is out of bounds. |

Long
Drive Contest - Tuesday, August 7th at 6:45 p.m. on hole #11

| If
a player arrives at the starting tee, ready to play, within five minutes
after his starting time, the penalty for failure to start on time is the
lost of the first hole in match play, or two strokes in stroke play. Otherwise
the penalty is disqualification, exceptional individual cases. U.S.G.A.
rule 6-3 In match play if a dispute arises between players a ruling must be secured BEFORE the players tee off on the next hole. |

TO SE THAT HIS QUALIFYING SCORE IS TURNED IN TO THE SCORERS AT THE PRACTICE GREEN. |

MATCH PLAY IS IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER
TO REPORT
THE RESULTS OF THE MATCH TO THE SCORERS AT THE PRACTICE GREEN. |

If any player wishes to withdraw from the tournament after qualifying please report to the the timing and pairing committee so that the place may be filled by a player who otherwise could not go into match play. Match play foursomes will be made up with a twosome from each bracket so that no player will be in the foursome with his next day opponent. |
